Dragon Spirit Chinese Baijiu

Dragon Spirit Chinese Baijiu is a packaging design for a Chinese liquor. The design is inspired by the Southern Song Dynasty brush painting Nine Dragons. A dragon from the painting appears on the bottle, and the dragon head is formed in metal, moving the image from two dimensions into three dimensions. The metal head is combined with a golden depiction of the Chishui River below, suggesting a dragon pouring water from the sky. The lid recalls an imperial seal and carries seven seals. Paper, PMMA, glass and metal are used.

Dream Dance Ice Ribbon

Dream Dance Ice Ribbon is a packaging set for a Chinese baijiu spirit. The set is a blind box that holds four bottles in one case. Each bottle refers to one of four winter sports: speed skating, figure skating, curling and ice hockey. The crystal cap is engraved on the inside with a three-dimensional form for each sport. The bottle body is luminous, and the base shape is adapted from the Ice Ribbon of the National Speed Skating Oval, combined with an infinity symbol. The box is finished with bronzing, embossing and snowflake printing.

Shadlee

Shadlee is a packaging design for a range of non-alcoholic mocktail drinks. The drinks are made for people who prefer not to drink alcohol at parties. Five flavours are presented, and each bottle carries the illustration of a different animal. The animal faces were simplified into flat geometric shapes and drawn by hand in a modern style. High contrast colours are applied to make the labels visible on the shelf. Visual unity links all five labels, while the colourful illustrations create a cheerful atmosphere.

The Language of Emotion and Time

The Language of Emotion and Time is a cake packaging design that uses fresh flowers as a visual sign of freshness. A transparent flower box is attached to the top of the package and can be pulled out, opened and detached for reuse. As the flowers bloom and fade, users can judge whether the cake is still fresh. The outer shell is made of recyclable hard cardboard, and the flower box is made of decomposable transparent material to reduce plastic use. The package measures 15 by 15 by 15 centimeters. Fresh flowers replace ribbons and add meaning when the cake is given as a gift.

Givenery Garden

Givenery Garden is a packaging design for a set of three hand creams with different effects and scents. The set includes a gift box, three individual boxes and three aluminium tubes. The gift box uses a lid and base structure that adds a sense of ceremony to the opening. White card printing and a tactile coating protect the colour of the illustrations. The illustrations combine plant elements such as rose, daisy, bamboo and cypress with an elegant serif typeface. Dark tones support the calm mood of aromatherapy products.

Noble 16 Zhenxuan

Noble 16 Zhenxuan is packaging designed for a premium liquor. The bottle follows the classic Baijiu shape and is made of black-glazed ceramic. Flowing lines and reliefs are carved on the surface with a western relief technique. The pattern on the bottleneck draws on Chinese composite flowers and western scroll grass. The label is printed on golden and dark patterned paper. The outer painted wooden box uses leather-like mounting and gold stamping. An inside page presents a flavor wheel that describes the taste. The aim is to blend Chinese and western liquor cultures.

Tsingtao Beer is one of the most famous beer brands in China. On the basis of highlighting the brand, the brand side needs to show the local characteristics of each province. The designer uses Hubei's most representative "Yellow Crane Tower" to show the local characteristics. In addition, Xiangyun, Crane, and the bottleneck "Phoenix Feather" (Hubei is very fond of Phoenix) make the whole picture more flexible; At the same time, highlight the "9 degree", the biggest selling point of the product, to effectively promote sales.

Beautiful Chinese Wine

The inspiration for the color selection comes from the beautiful landscape of China. The harmonious pictures of civilization, ecology, and nature are integrated with the green bottle body which adds an elegant charm to the design. The design takes the Wisdom Shede wine bottle as the prototype and creates five groups of different pictures on the five small wine bottles all with rare animals and nature as the elements to reflect the meaning of civilized ecological and beautiful China.

Jxb Probiotics

Jxb Probiotics is a packaging design for a probiotic health product. The smallest single units are shaped like a small spaceman, a figure that suggests a guardian of the body. The outer box is made of recyclable cardboard and measures 137 millimetres in diameter and 130 millimetres in height. Each inner box measures 24 millimetres in diameter and 45 millimetres in height. Printing uses inks that are free of solvents and volatile organic compounds. The small units can be kept and reused as decorative objects.

Zodiac is an important part of the Chinese culture. Zodiac has many positive meanings and is closely related to everybody. Mouse means wisdom, ox diligence. When wisdom is combined with diligence, tiger represents braveness, rabbit caution, dragon vigor, sneak suppleness, horse courage, sheep meekness, monkey flexibility, chicken stableness, dog loyalty, and pig mildness. And drinking tea is a mental cultivation. It represents a life process and the inside stableness. Therefore, Zodiac and tea, combined, will bring more positive perspectives in better and happier lives.

Shuanggou Shengfang

Shuang Gou Sheng Fang is a packaging design for a Chinese liquor. The package holds two separate bottles. The small upper bottle contains liquor of 68 percent alcohol by volume, and the large lower bottle contains liquor of medium strength. Each bottle can be enjoyed alone, or the two liquors can be blended freely to create different tastes. Two covers made of ABS and PE are plated in rose gold and joined by a lock, which prevents leakage and makes opening easier. The box and the bottles are decorated with gem shapes inspired by the roofs of historic distilleries.
